This is the space where I exist in the margins — small notes between recipes, daily sketches, and design musings. Here, I share the meals I experiment with, the things I’m learning, and the quiet moments of creativity. My everyday is an evolving sketch, and this blog is the margin where it all gathers. I’m glad you’re here, watching the edges of my world unfold—where I put the things that don’t always fit elsewhere.
For now here's a Watermelon Gin n' Tonic for you — Consider this my contribution to surviving the heat. The sweetness of watermelon softens the sharpness of gin. It’s simple, quick, and dangerously repeatable.
Ingredients (serves 1)
¼ lime, juiced
¼ cup chopped watermelon frozen
2 tablespoons gin (or to taste)
2 cups tonic water
½ cup ice (or as needed)
Here’s how I made it.
In a glass, add chopped frozen watermelon, fill with ice, then pour in gin and top with tonic water. Give it a quick, gentle stir and it's ready to add a few mint leaves & serve <3
